Honda 1974 Honda Z50 Tank Repaired and Re- Painted

Bryan, Wymore, Nebraska, did a great job repairing his 1974 Honda Z50 motorcycle tank, even with a close up it looks great.  He used the Spray Max base coat aerosol in Honda Candy Sapphire Blue Flake (1974).   Bryan said, "My third paint job. Gets easier each time."

Harley Vivid Black Paint Gives Awesome New Look

 Just wanted to show you how my project turned out.  Thank you for all your help and a very easy to use product that made my first time with auto paint enjoyable.  Attached is a before and two after photo's.  Even my friend who is a body man couldn't believe the finish came from a spray can!

4 High build primer (could have bought 4 more)
5 Harley Amber Whiskey
5 Harley Vivid Black
7 Spraymax high gloss 2K clearcoat

There are a total of 5 coats of color and 4 coats of clear. Everything got final sanded to 2000 grit and buffed and polished.

Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser 1977

This is my 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser that I purchased in February 2013. 

Using 66 Auto Color’s 2K paint, I completely repainted the interior of the vehicle in the Spring of 2013.

The exterior of the vehicle had already been repainted by a previous owner in California, and that paint wasn’t a perfect match to the Toyota paint code 854.

So I shipped a small part of the vehicle down to 66 Auto Color so they could scan it for a dead-on custom mix.  My most recent project last month was to remove the cold-weather grill cover snaps that a previous owner had installed on the front of the hood and grill area.  As you can see, the 66 Auto Color paint matches wonderfully!  The 2K product is great to work with, and the customer service at 66 Auto Color is outstanding!   Plus, I love that they’re in Joplin, so I always  get my order overnight.

Advantages of Using Spray Max Aerosols

Many times a person may have a project that is more mechanic oriented but needs body work, primer, and paint to finish the project.  Spray Max gives a person the ability to do small repairs, and more, with professional results.

The technology of the Spray Max aerosol can makes this possible:

First, the spray nozzle provides a very fine atomization with a fan pattern like a spray gun.

Second, the 2K aerosol spray can itself has an internal capsule that is ruptured at the time of use.  This provides a professional quality primer, clear coat, and paint that was not available in a spray can before this technology.

Third, 66 Auto Color is one of the few companies that will mix a custom color and put it in the spray can.

The advantages of Spray Max are as follows:

• Legal in all fifty states
• No spray booth required
• Fine atomization provides a wet finish less likely to run

 The following pictures are an example from John W. - Aledo, TX.  John's restoration project is a FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser that needed a lot of mechanical work.  Once that was completed he wanted to do some rust repair, but didn't have the spray gun and compressor needed to get it into primer.  He used the Spray Max 2K Epoxy Primer over his body work.  He liked the color of the epoxy primer because it looked similar to an original FJ40 color and the flat patina looked right, so he has decided to keep it in primer.  (Spray Max 2K Epoxy Primer - quantity used 6 aerosols)

Why put all that work into a project and then use some inferior - cheap 1K primer that simply will not give the long term protection that Spray Max 2K epoxy primer will provide?
